摘要: In the past few years we have witnessed an explosive growth in usage of media streaming applications. The newly appeared audio/video applications are becoming increasingly popular IP networks, while mobile environment limited bandwidth and higher error rate arise spite its popularity. Retransmission-based recovery is considered inappropriate for multimedia applications, because latency. This solution can be attractive it requires minimal network bandwidth, processing cost efficiently improves stream quality. Despite latency, retransmission used successfully many cases, especially if playout buffering employed. Only retransmitted packets will improve quality parameters stream, therefore worth to examine which should retransmitted. this paper a source controlled selective algorithm presented with decision based on actual RTT sending determined by TFRC. our scheme transmitter determines delay caused buffer using proposed Flood method. needed information about congestion state provided TFRC (TCP Friendly Rate Control) algorithm. Our proposal does not need additional administration messages procedure inputs at transmitter. obtained results show that significant improvement possible scheme.
