摘要: A structured inquiry experiment for inorganic synthesis has been developed to introduce undergraduate students advanced spectroscopic techniques including paramagnetic nuclear magnetic resonance and electron resonance. Students synthesize multiple complexes with unknown first row transition metals identify the by correlating data electronic structure. are assessed through an oral presentation of their spectral analyses conclusions.
