摘要: The diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis is currently based on the proof sacroiliitis X-rays. Therefore term “ankylosing without sacroiliitis” might seem illogical. However, clinical course (like in other rheumatic inflammatory diseases) highly variable, ranging from mild asymptomatic forms to rapidly progressive ones resulting ankylosis spine or replacement hip joints, rhizomelic even extra-articular manifestations. Thus can be well “hidden” this broad spectrum A new concept axial (and peripheral) spondyloarthritis throws some light these issues, which explain as so-called “pre-radiographic stage spondyloarthritis.”
