摘要: Although many countries’ populations have experienced increasing life expectancy in recent decades, quality of (QoL) trends the general population yet to be investigated. This paper investigates whether QoL changed for Dutch over period 2001–2008. A beta regression model was employed address specific features distribution (i.e., boundedness, skewness, and heteroskedasticity), as well non-linear age time trends. Quality-adjusted (QALE) calculated by combining estimates mean with mortality rates provided Statistics Netherlands. Changes QALE were decomposed into those changes caused mortality-rate changes. The results revealed a significant increase 2001–2008 both genders most ages. For example, man/woman aged 20 found increased 2.3/1.9 healthy years, which 0.6/0.8 due improvements.
