摘要: Background The number of international migrants is estimated at 272 million people worldwide. In Europe, face the disproportionate burden infectious diseases, including hepatitis B and C, HIV sexually transmitted infections (STIs). High-risk behaviours, sexual abuse, poor living conditions barriers to accessing health care may affect migrants' health, leading infections. Objectives study evaluates STIs prevalence knowledge, attitude practice (KAP) in non-European attending clinic Malta. It also seeks explore situations human trafficking (HT), sex/gender-based violence (S/GBV) female genital mutilations (FGM). Methods This a mixed-method study, based on quantitative qualitative research within single centre. An anonymous pretested questionnaire was administered genitourinary (GUC) with assistance an ethnocultural agent. Demographics, STI diagnoses risk behaviours were collected from GUC database, linked questionnaires analysed. Results A total 143 took part 73% young male 16.7% men who have sex (MSM). Forty-one different nationalities recorded, top ones Nigerian (12%), Filipino (7.4%) Chinese (5.4%). Concerning 33.8% respondents had never used condom 76.5% multiple partners 6 months prior study. 73.1%.
