摘要: The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect storage under various conditions on concentrations major bovine acute phase protein—serum amyloid A, and its mammary isoform. Blood samples were taken from seven clinically healthy calves, milk six dairy cows. harvested blood serum fractioned into aliquots. One aliquot analyzed day collection without storage. second aliquots stored at 4°C for 1 day, remaining kept frozen −18°C 2, 7, 14, 21 days, then analyzed. A (SAA). isoform SAA (M-SAA) measured in samples. Over time, showed a tendency significant decrease during (). Similarly, values M-SAA decreased significantly maintained freezer temperatures In refrigerated samples, we found non-significantly lower SAA, as well M-SAA. Presented results indicate that temperature duration may markedly affect
