摘要: The influence of hydroxamic acids (Hx), plant secondary metabolites associated with aphid resistance in wheat, on the host acceptance and suitability Sitobion avenae to cereal parasitoid Aphidius rhopalosiphi was evaluated. Aphids showed a reduction mean relative growth rate body size wheat cultivar higher Hx level. Reduction related decreased success avoiding oviposition. A minor increase A. developmental time observed aphids feeding cultivar. Experiments different concentrations DIMBOA glucoside, main artificial diets an at highest concentration, no change other performance variables. evidence is discussed relation compatible utilization host-plant biological control integrated pest management.
