摘要: Ce-doped ZnO nanoparticles with various doping concentrations of cerium ion were prepared by the co-precipitation method. All characterized electron spin resonance (ESR), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), diffraction (XRD) and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. show pattern that matched in its wurzite structure average grain size was range 13 - 16 nm. measurements indicated a red shift photophysical response after exhibited reflection spectra visible region between 300 800 In addition, it has been found from defects, which are likely to be oxygen vacancy an trapped at site formed our particles. Photocatalytic activities evaluated irradiating solution ultraviolet light taking methyl orange as organic dye. The experiment demonstrated photodegradation increased first then decreased when concentra- tion exceeded 9 at%. It is proposed photocatalytic activity strongly dependent on formation site.
