摘要: Abstract In order to investigate the mechanism of boundary friction, adhesion and friction experiments were carried out with a variety surfactant-monolayer-coated surfaces using surface forces apparatus. The measured as function monolayer coverage phase state, load, temperature, shear rate relative humidity. We report on two important findings. (i) Stick-slip motion can occur not only between “static” “kinetic” state but also static or kinetic some “superkinetic” that exhibits ultralow friction. (ii) coefficient is directly correlated rather hysteresis, which measure energy dissipated during an irreversible ( e.g. loading-unloading) cycle. conclude chain interdigitation most molecular gives rise “boundary” hysteresis monolayer-coated surfaces.
