摘要: The total emission—phosphorescence plus fluorescence—spectra of benzophenone crystals containing small quantities 1,2‐benzanthracene (BA) are described. electronic states BA and such that the lowest triplet state but not singlet can be populated directly by energy transfer from benzophenone. relative efficiencies fluorescence phosphorescence provide evidence exciton migration is occurring in host lattice. fact host‐crystal yield temperature‐dependent provides another experimental probe into probabilities for this crystal. combination these two types experiment gives some indication interaction between an excited molecule lattice neighboring molecules.
