摘要: Alterations in gastric emptying are considered contributory to many sequelae of peptic ulcer surgery. The application a validated method firmly tagging solid food has enabled the measurement rates and patterns normal subjects, subtotal gastrectomy, vagotomy pyloroplasty (VP (2) rapid with exponential pattern mean rate constant 0.039 min−1, t1/2 17.7 min. slow passage chyme through small intestine one-half V&P group presumably allows greater efficiency digestion absorption may account for over-all less severe nutritional disturbances after V&P.
