摘要: La aorta se considera patologicamente dilatada si los diametros de la raiz y ascendente exceden por encima un 50% su diametro normal para una determinada superficie corporal. dilatacion asocia frecuentemente a enfermedad valvula. ruptura diseccion son dos graves eventos que pueden ocurrir conllevan alta mortalidad. Estan relacionados estrechamente con el pared, ello indicacion cirugia electiva es fundamental, dependiendo sobre todo factores senalados. Existen distintas alternativas tecnicas, anatomicas funcionales aortica. eleccion del procedimiento basa muy especialmente en edad paciente, sustrato patologico, riesgo anticoagulacion, presencia infeccion, etc. decision multifactorial necesario tratar ofrecer al segun sus caracteristicas, solucion mas idonea. Las tecnicas quirurgicas (tubos valvulados, remodelamiento, injertos biologicos, etc.) ser realizadas cifras baja morbimortalidad excelentes resultados largo plazo.
