摘要: Animal home ranges typically characterized by their size, shape and a given time interval can be affected many different biotic abiotic factors. However, despite the fact that studies have addressed ranges, our knowledge of factors influencing size area occupied animals is, in cases, still quite poor, especially among raptors. Using radio-telemetry (VHF; 2.1 g tail-mounted tags) we studied movements 20 Tengmalm's owl (Aegolius funereus) males during breeding season mountain Central Europe (the Czech Republic, Ore Mountains: 50° 40' N, 13° 35' E) between years 2006-2010, determined average hunting range explored what utilised. The mean calculated according to 95% fixed kernel density estimator was 190.7 ± 65.7 ha (± SD) with median value 187.1 ha. Home prey abundance, presence or absence polygyny, number fledglings, weather conditions. increased decreasing abundance. Polygynously mated had overall larger than those monogamously, individuals more fledged young possessed compared fewer raised fledglings. Finally, found recorded harsh (nights strong wind speed and/or heavy rain) were smaller registered better weather. Overall, results provide novel insights into may influence emphasize abundance as key factor for dynamics owl.
