摘要: Four spontaneous mutations with cerebellar atrophy exhibit ataxia and deficits in motor coordination tasks requiring balance equilibrium. These mutants were compared to their respective controls for regional brain metabolism assessed by histochemical staining of the mitochondrial enzyme, cytochrome oxidase (CO). The enzymatic activity Grid2Lc, Grid2ho, Rorasg, Relnrl was altered cerebellum cerebellar-related pathways at brainstem, midbrain, telencephalic levels. CO changes cortex deep nuclei as well some regions linearly correlated performance stationary beam rotorod mutants. results indicate that addition its relation neural activity, can be used a predictor capacity.
