摘要: Although video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) was described twenty years ago, it only accounts for 2-5% of all pulmonary lobectomies performed in the United States and Kingdom (1). In addition, nearly 80% VATS cases take place specialty academic centers (2). The reasons lack widespread acceptance are (I) perceived complexity technique, (II) inadequate instrumentation resources, (III) concern regarding potential compromise safe surgical oncologic principles, despite reported benefits perioperative pain, cosmesis, complications, length stay
