Isolation and characterization of membrane drug receptors.

摘要: In 1964, an attempt by the author to summarize then current views of basic mechanisms drug action ended with prediction that exciting developments in this area pharmacology could be anticipated within subsequent few years [1]. At time only receptors had been isolated and purified were certain soluble membrane-bound enzymes nucleic acids which specific drugs interact produce their pharmacologic effects. Membrane-bound do not have a known enzymic function more difficult characterize isolate although recent years, especially since 1970, considerable progress has made.
