摘要: With the growth in collaborative engagements for solutions to society’s complex problems, role of co-designing address climate change issues low-income human settlements is becoming significant. This informed a design workshop/charette hosted at Federal University Technology, Akure, Nigeria. Twenty-six young architects and urban planners worked with non-academic stakeholders from coastal communities Igbokoda, Ondo State during five-day event. Structural (building neighborhood setting) non-structural (programmatic) ideas adaptation resilient housing were outcomes work. paper reports draws lessons process workshop/charette. The well-received by follow-up projects have since been conceived. thus affirms value approach towards exploring co-producing era changing climate.
