摘要: The four point bending scheme was adopted to evaluate the in plane elastic modulus of a NiCoCrAlY-ZrOzO CW thermal barrier coating, employed for gas turbine applications. Four experimental techniques have been set up, based on mesurement mid section strain and displacement. Two specimen geometries several substrate thicknesses were employed. Being ratio coating thickness generally small, preliminary sensitivity analysis, errors propagation theory, focused identification main sources measurement uncertainties, relation various techniques. Measures performed from room temperature up 500 °C. Experimental results are reported importance correct estimate layers discussed.
