摘要: Ground-water quality, determined by 10 samplings of 14 wells within a 7.4 km2 watershed during 1973–1982, was related to land use and geology. The represent forest cropland associated with three geologic zones. Nitrates, chloride phosphate concentrations were much higher in ground waters underlying cropland. mean ranged from five seven times those observed water forests. contamination pattern is consistent that computed nutrient balance, based on known fertilizer manure local croplands. Downgradient the primary agricultural area, zone exists through which sources must pass reach stream. In this zone, nitrate, chloride, are greatly decreased due mixing dilution. chemical nature these reflects more geochemistry deposits than impact use. A ground-water flow system hypothesized, geologic, hydrologie, geometric properties. supported data.
