摘要: Nerve guidance conduits (NGCs) have the potential to replace autografts in repairing peripheral nerve injuries, but their efficacy still needs be improved. The of NGCs is augmented by neurotrophic factors that promote axon growth and enzymes capable degrading molecules inhibit growth. In current study, two types loaded with (both neurotrophin-3 chondroitinase ABC) are constructed abilities repair an 8 mm gap rat sciatic examined. encapsulated microparticles made a phase-change material (PCM) or collagen then sandwiched between layers electrospun fibers. use PCM allows achieve pulsed release upon irradiation near-infrared laser. enables slow, continuous via diffusion. evaluated measuring compound muscle action potentials (CMAP) gastrocnemius analyzing histology. Continuous from results enhanced CMAP amplitude increased counts distal relative plain conduit. contrast, same shows markedly adverse impact on efficacy, possibly inhibiting
