摘要: The family Caristiidae, commonly known as manefishes or veilfins, includes several species of mesopelagic, oceanic fishes found throughout the major ocean basins world. We present herein second part our revision family, including all “large-mouth” species, which are distinguished from other members by having a narrow suborbital space and long upper jaw that extends to mid-orbit beyond is visible externally, not covered thin bones series.
