Past and Present Status of the Elephant in Uganda

摘要: Since 1925, when the Elephant Control Department of Uganda broadened its objectives and became Game Fisheries Department, various statistical data field observations pertaining to elephant (Loxodonta africana) have been reported published in Annual Reports. Data on number elephants taken by control operations, tusks found outside national parks, confiscated following contraventions Ordinance extracted from Re-
