摘要: Multifractal features of element concentrations in the Earth’s crust have demonstrated to be closely associated with multiple probability distributions such as normal, lognormal and power law. However, traditional understanding geochemical distribution satisfying or power-law models still faces a serious problem adjusting theoretical statistics empirical distribution. Given that differences among different populations may considerable effects on target estimation, new perspective from singularity fractal density is adopted investigate mixed patterns within frequency space domains. In framework geometry, ordinary volume (e.g., g/cm3 kg/m3) described Euclidean can considered special case g/cmα kg/mα). According nature density, information obtained geometry not sufficiently reflect inherent features, because some might hidden only revealed by means set fractional dimensions. present study, stream sediment data collected west Tianshan region, Xinjiang (China), were used explore based model. Four elements Cu, Zn, K Na selected study between minor major terms their patterns. The results strongly suggest well interpreted model related statistical multifractal parameters.
