摘要: The inhibiting effect of pyridine and seven its methyl derivatives on the corrosion iron in O2‐free, at 35°C was determined. Corrosion rates were measured by colorimetric analysis for with mercaptoacetic acid. relative inhibitor efficiency cathodic potential shift increased increasing concentration and, a given concentration, electron density nitrogen atom. Both slightly decreasing but temperature increase 10°C had no either. proposition that chemisorption is involved inhibition supported these experiments. As supplementary item great importance careful purification organic compounds used such researches as this documented.
