摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the various aspects of seismicity induced by mining. An increase in seismic areas and generation aseismic have been observed as a result deep underground mining large-scale surface quarrying. Seismicity mining, fluid injection, reservoir loading are three main types triggered affecting preexisting stress field different ways. Mining operations, leading to removal large masses rock, their major impact on elastic injections influence distribution pressure upper layers crust. The orientation principal nature is tectonic environments. Regions thrust faulting characterized minimum compressive being vertical, regions normal maximum strike-slip intermediate vertical. It found that depth mine tremors strongly depends type rocks forming roofs floors ore seams.
