摘要: The physical clogging of porous medium is a significant problem that impacts the performance infiltration systems. Although has been extensively studied, mesoscopic mechanism and dynamic in are still unclear. This paper focuses on migration characteristic suspended solid (SS) particles gravel zeolite columns. results indicate permeability filter significantly decreases at initial stage SS reduces to steady value as accumulated load increases. particle size decreases, while lower sphericity coarser texture also result reduction medium. X-ray computed tomography was used obtain images during through substrates. Due formation layer, intrusion subsequent inflow can be prevented, leading blanket depositional layer. ratio between controls within Additionally, this experimental study, threshold affected by shape Considering simple double-layered analytical model considers accumulation proposed estimate variation permeability, which agrees well with measurements.
