Tunable range enhancement of Brillouin-erbium fiber laser utilizing Brillouin pump pre-amplification technique

摘要: We demonstrate an enhanced multiwavelength L-band Brillouin-erbium fiber laser (BEFL), in which the Brillouin pump is pre-amplified before entering single-mode fiber. The pre-amplification provided by Erbium-doped has created higher intensity of Stokes line generated that leads to homogenous gain saturation. Thus built-up self-lasing cavity modes suppressed a wider wavelength range. In contrary conventional linear-cavity BEFL, number output channels within same tuning
