摘要: BACKGROUND One of the most popular methods glycerol utilisation involves its bioconversion to low-molecular organic compounds such as polyoles or acids. Because presence contaminants in post-fermentation broth, including left-over glycerol, small amounts proteins, inorganic salts and some acids formed process fermentation (mainly acetate, formic lactic acids), success is determined by purification. In study presented usefulness nanofiltration with use ceramic membranes for concentration separation fumaric acid from was evaluated. RESULTS It found that retention salt increased strongly increasing pH feed solution (depending on degree dissociation). The retentions uncharged compounds, i.e. were lower than 2%, irrespective initial be filtered. CONCLUSION The results obtained showed can considered one purification steps recovery a broth containing glycerol. © 2014 Society Chemical Industry
