摘要: The objective of this study is to investigate the expression level periostin in cancer stem cells as well glioma tissues and relationship between clinical pathological characteristics prognosis gliomas. ESA+/CD133+/lin- tumor were selected by flow cytometry from tissues, non-ESA+/CD133+/lin- was detected quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) Western blot analysis. status analyzed immunohistochemistry staining, clinicopathological parameters gliomas determined. It showed that expressed higher compared both mRNA protein levels. One hundred eighteen (37.82 %) patients observed with highly immunohistochemistry. Moreover, we related Karnofsky performance scale score (KPS), extent resection, Ki67, WHO grade universal analysis (P=0.008, 0.045, 0.001, respectively). However, only identified be after multivariate After survival analysis, cases attained a significantly poorer postoperative disease-specific distant metastasis than those none/low (P=0.001 0.002). In Cox regression test, KPS, grade, independent prognostic factors 0.007, 0.032, Periostin can an important marker for gliomas, which may present new therapeutic target patients.
