摘要: Abstract Bromate is a disinfection by-product in drinking water, formed during the ozonation of source water containing bromide. An inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer combined with an ion chromatograph for analysis bromate waters. Three chromatographic columns are evaluated terms detection limits, time and tolerance to potentially interfering inorganic anions. The limits all 1–2 μg/l range direct bromate. A 5-min was achieved using Dionex AG10 column 100 mM NaOH as eluent. Recoveries fortified samples chloride (1000 ppm) or nitrate (50 were 96–107%. sulfate 91–124%. R.S.D. values analyses 2–6% range. 1.8-ml sample preconcentrated on column. This system produced 0.1–0.2 Coupling preconcentrator ultrasonic nebulizer limit 50 ppt precision which degraded due adjacent peak integration peak.
