摘要: Polymers and their morphology are characterized by a structural hierarchy on different levels, which belong to molecular, nanometer, mesoscopic, micrometer, macroscopic length scales, respectively. The analysis of the underlying structure means scanning force microscopy (SFM) relevant scale, in particular interpretation SFM micrographs, requires some basic concepts polymer morphology. This chapter reviews rudimentary polymers hence lays ground for hands-on examples discussed later chapters.
