摘要: This chapter assesses the response of mangrove ecosystems to possible outcomes climate change, with regard following categories: (i) distribution, diversity, and community composition, (ii) physiology flora fauna, (iii) water budget, (iv) productivity remineralization, (v) carbon storage in biomass sediments, (vi) filter function for elements beneficial or harmful life. These categories are then used identify regions most vulnerable change. The four important factors determining change sea level rise, an increase frequency and/or intensity storms, increases temperature, aridity. While these changes may be some forests at latitudinal distribution limits, they will threaten forest structure functions related ecosystem services cases. interaction human interventions is discussed, as well effects on including adaptation management options. closes outlook knowledge gaps priority research needed fill gaps.
