摘要: The phase transition of zinc oxide from B4 (hexagonal wurtzite structure) to B1 (cubic rocksalt has been studied by energy-dispersive powder diffraction technique up 11 GPa and 1273 K. Analysis equation-of-state (PVT) data for the yields precise values bulk modulus its temperature derivative. previously accepted P-T diagram is shown be incorrect. It established that not recoverable. equilibrium pressure B4-to-B1 transformation near 6 (at ambient temperature) dP/dT slope close zero. These new results are confirmed using simultaneously three other different types experiment (imaging, ultrasonic X-ray studies on single-crystal specimens).
