摘要: Abstract Ge-As-S and Ge-Ga-S glasses doped with Dy 3+ were prepared the emission characteristics of four infrared fluorescent emissions at 1.33, 1.75, 2.90 4.38 μm evaluated. High oscillator strengths large intensity parameters originate from highly covalent nature bonds in glasses. Measured lifetimes glass are 728 4550 μs for 6 H 11/2 → 15/2 (1.75 μm) 13/2 (2.90 transitions, respectively. Quantum efficiencies 32.8 87.2% above transitions compare well values reported previously. Multiphonon relaxation rates are4 orders magnitude less than those silicate glasses, which provide good opportunities future laser applications.
