摘要: Methods. Twenty-nine normal lenses, from donors aged 14 to 86 years, were used. The fraction of light transmitted a narrow beam was measured as function wavelength. spectra fitted with the one-parameter TL model Pokorny et al. relationship between this parameter and color grading Chylack (lens opacity classification system III nuclear score) established. Results. After slight adaptation model, shapes transmittance corresponded closely (average residual error 0.05 log units). Log lens score related (r = 0.90, 0.77, 0.55 for 400, 500, 602 nm, respectively). Conclusions. A mathematical could be established predict score. This successful in predicting correction absorption needed blue-on-yellow perimetry. Invest Ophthalmol Vis Sci. 1995;36:322-329. 1 he yellow pigments ' human eye result yellowing that can observed subjectively slit lamp examination. In principle, straightforward exist pigment content is subject present study. results might practical interest if examination used allow conclusions more physical nature.
