摘要: Objectives This study aims to investigate the feasibility and acceptability of using an app-based technology train balance in older population. Design Prospective study. Setting The was conducted a university setting participants’ homes. Participants Thirty-five volunteers ≥55 years old were recruited. Intervention asked follow exercise programme 7 days week for 3 weeks phone application. Seventeen participants trained further weeks. Outcome measures Postural sway during quiet standing with feet at shoulder width apart together, one leg tandem stance measured baseline, end 6 training weeks; International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) assessed physical activity level before training; app recorded user experience questionnaire. Results on 6-week average completed 20 (±5) 38 (±11) training, respectively, all scored moderate high IPAQ. Between baseline 3-week assessments, statistically significant improvements observed anteroposterior sway, mediolateral area stance, together stance. Improvements compared but those between not significant. Based questionnaire, reported that is appropriate tool (77%), they benefits from (50%) found it easy fit into daily routine (88%). Conclusion adherence analysed demonstrate moderately highly physically active participants. demonstrates given tools population positive towards receptive digital interventions aimed improve balance.
