摘要: Abstract This paper deals with the effect of non-equilibrium plasma on anchoring a premixed jet flame in hot vitiated crossflow at atmospheric pressure. The turbulent was generated by an array 4 × flames burning lean mixture air and natural gas equivalence ratio 0.7 thermal power 50 kW. rich jet, ϕ varied between 1 3, injected perpendicularly to rectangular duct, jet-to-crossflow momentum flux ratios J ranging from 26. A nanosecond repetitively pulsed discharge initiated vicinity windward side root. repetition rate lift-off height is systematically analyzed for different combinations . High speed chemiluminescence imaging shows that initiation enhances combustion chemistry, reducing ignition time flame. It shown discharges are able maintain robust wide range operating conditions relatively low electric cost. Emission spectroscopy OH-PLIF measurements were carried out show has both kinetic effects respectively via intense localized heating temperatures exceeding 3000 K production OH radicals.
