摘要: Allostasis and allostatic load are terms which supplement the classic homeostasis stress. is active process that leads to adaptation a stressor, mediators of allostasis include stress hormones as well autonomic nervous systems pro-inflammatory cytokines metabolic hormones. Allostatic its more severe form, overload, represent cumulative effects chronic physiologic stress, may be generated by internal processes (e.g., anxiety) external factors such stressors or life styles overeating, insufficient sleep) also dysregulate allostasis. Consequences overload many common diseases modern life. In nature, however, used achieve beneficial putting on fat for hibernation.
