摘要: Completely unexplored regimes of QCD, dominated by high-density/temperature effects, are available in heavy ion experiments at collider energies. The successful RHIC program shows how relevant the high transverse momentum part spectrum is for characterization properties created medium. It points, as well, to interesting nuclear wave function small fraction x, probably saturated color fields. In both domains, imminent LHC will provide a phase space enlarged orders magnitude with respect those studied RHIC. I review present status hard probes collisions well expectations LHC.
