摘要: A resin composition for printing inks which comprises a rosin-modified phenolic modified with an animal or vegetable oil, the content of oil being 5 to 40% by weight based on total composition. The oil-modified and may be produced by (I) reacting in single step (a), phenol, (b) formaldehyde-yielding substance, (c) (d) rosin, (e) alcohol and, if desired, at least one substance selected from (f) acids (g) hydrocarbon resins, without phenol (a) advance; (11) (h) resol-type phennl/formaldehyde initial condensation product obtained pre-reacting (b), (c), rosin (d), resins; (III) partially wholly esterifying two components, (e), acid (g), can esterified each other, then resulting pre-condensate (i) remaining components; (IV) subjecting ester-interchange (j) components.
