摘要: The precise regulation of synaptic integrity is critical for neuronal network connectivity and proper brain function. Essential aspects the activity localization proteins are regulated by posttranslational modifications. S-palmitoylation a reversible covalent modification cysteine with palmitate. It modulates affinity protein cell membranes membranous compartments. Intracellular palmitoylation dynamics other modifications, such as S-nitrosylation. Still unclear, however, ways in which this crosstalk affected pathology, stress-related disorders. Using newly developed mass spectrometry-based approach (Palmitoylation And Nitrosylation Interplay Monitoring), we analyzed endogenous S-nitrosylation postsynaptic density at level specific single cysteines mouse model chronic stress. Our results suggest that atypical mechanism between might be one major events associated stress
