摘要: This is a critical review of inert properties classical relativistic point objects. The objects are classified as Galilean and non-Galilean. Three types non-Galilean considered: spinning, rigid, dressed particles. In the absence external forces, such particles capable executing not only uniform motions along straight lines but also Zitterbewegungs, self-accelerations, self-decelerations, uniformly accelerated motions. A free object possesses four-velocity four-momentum which in general collinear, therefore, its specified by two, rather than one, invariant quantities. It shown that spinning particle need be object. necessity rigid mechanics for construction consistent electrodynamics spacetimes dimension D+1 justified D+1>4. problem how much form fundamental laws physics orders four dimensions our world revised together with solution suggested Ehrenfest. present analysis made it apparent notion ``back-reaction'' does reflect heart matter field theories point-like sources, ``dressed'' proves more appropriate.
