摘要: Abstract In the present work we intend to discuss groundwater contamination and its susceptibility in Serra Geral Aquifer, Brazil. For this purpose, a list of data concerning wells located study region was elaborated, obtained from Groundwater Information System (GIS) Geological Survey Moreover, on land use occupancy United States (USGS) images constructed. order determine local contamination, cross-referencing based index (SI) as well methodologies pollutant origin surcharge hydraulically (POSH) system. The results pointed that SI municipality Sarandi (Brazil, RS) ranged very low (37%) high (76%) susceptibility. Included these, 12% is range, 17,6% low, 13% moderate 13,2% high, 44% Furthermore, potential sources load are concentrated areas where has scored high. It concluded used important tools benefits facilitate environmental impact assessments, enabling management for purpose protecting preserving water resources general.
