摘要: Cow manure with bedding is a renewable organic biomass, available around the year on dairy farms. However, its reuse hampered by many factors including existence of potential pathogens. Efficient and cost-effective dry anaerobic digestion at low temperatures (20 °C 28 °C) can be used to eliminate At same time, it provide energy income A process was in this study investigate effect methane production removal This operational feasibility showed that (i) digester operating 28 °C obtained 50% higher specific yield (0.229–0.286 LCH4/gVSfed) compared 20 °C. value similar those mesophilic (35–38 °C) digesters (0.228–0.302 LCH4/gVS), while net heat requirement maintain temperature lower our digesters; (ii) approximately 90–100% pathogens (E. coli, streptococcus, total gram-negative bacteria, Salmonella Klebsiella) were eliminated process. These results are encouraging digested material as an alternate economical source for cows.
