摘要: Seventeen infants under 2 years of age with documented gastroesophageal reflux were studied by continuous distal esophageal pH monitoring and compared to six age-matched controls. Records obtained from patients GER differed significantly controls in the percent monitored time below 4.0, number episodes per hour, duration longest episode reflux. The differences between groups became highly significant when two-hour period after a clear liquid feeding was evaluated separately. Continuous is more sensitive specific means diagnosing than diagnostic tests available at present.
