摘要: This article reviews studies that assessed the process and content of genetic counseling communication. A systematic search literature was undertaken audio- or videotaped sessions conducted by genetics health care providers subjected them to communication analyses. total 18 (published in 34 articles) were identified met eligibility criteria. Studies show speak more than clients, a large proportion is biomedical rather psychosocial teaching model widely implemented. Higher levels counselor facilitation understanding empathic responses, lower verbal dominance (ratio client talk) provision summary letter consultation are associated with positive outcomes. Findings from these should be used as an evidence base for continuing education providers.
