摘要: This work investigates the potential of coconut shell for air-steam gasification using thermodynamic equilibrium model. A model considering tar and realistic char conversion was developed MATLAB software to predict product gas composition. After comparing it with experimental results prediction capability is enhanced by multiplying constants suitable coefficients. The modified used study effect key process parameters like temperature, steam biomass ratio, equivalence ratio on yield, composition, heating value syngas along efficiency. For a unity, maximum mole fraction hydrogen in found be 36.14% lower 7.49 MJ/Nm3 at temperature 1500 K 0.15.
