摘要: In 2005, cancer surpassed heart disease as the leading cause for death in Americans under age of 80 years. Among all types human cancer, lung is cancer-related death, claiming more than 150,000 lives every year United States alone (which exceeds combined mortality from breast, prostate, colorectal, and pancreatic cancers). Patients with advanced stages representing 75% new cases, have a median survival time only 10 months.1 contrast to significant medical burden associated research on underfunded. According National Institutes Health data (http://planning.cancer.gov/disease), U.S. government spent approximately $1,200 per 2002 compared $11,425 breast $8,190 prostate $3,350 colorectal cancer. Approximately $31,000 was HIV/AIDS 2002. Understanding molecular basis progression tumor metastasis an essential step reducing
