摘要: To ensure that captive breeding and other associated programs are more robust sustainable, it is of utmost importance to optimum welfare. Although well known standard welfare crucial for successful breeding, there still a lack assessment protocols wild species. The current study aimed develop leading baseline protocol assessing in Punjab urial. This based on the domestic sheep from Welfare Quality® project, coupled with all information obtained published literature species' biology ecology. consists 4 principles, 12 criteria, 31 animal- resource-based indicators. was tested applied three different herds urial at two facilities. Initial results showed some areas need be improved better management.
