摘要: An efficient synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidinones from aldehyde, β-keto ester and urea in ethanol using cobalt chloride hexahydrate or lanthanum heptahydrate as a catalyst was described. Compared to the classical Biginelli reaction, this new method consistently has advantage good yields (56%-99%) well short reaction time (4–5 h).
